My first visit to the Rockies!
I recently returned home from a trip to Colorado - my first time ever. It was awesome. My friend Beth invited some of us to stay at her family's vacation house in Breckenridge, and with flights out of Dulles going for a pretty good rate, I had to say yes. We toured Vail Village, skied the bunny hill in Breck, shopped, had dinner parties, bar hopped, played cards, and watched the mountains through the huge picture windows all day. It was gorgeous.
I really loved it and want to go back in the summer when I can go hiking and even camping. I have to say, though, that I was out of breath literally the entire time I was there. I'm from DC and have quite handily acclimated to being at sea level. When you go from a place where the highest point is like 400 feet to a place where the highest point is like 13,000 feet, there's gonna be some issues. I mean, 10,000 feet is where airplanes fly! But I wheezed my way through it and got some skiing in to boot.
I would show you some photos, but just now looking at my stupid blackberry (where all my pictures are since my stupid camera broke again), I realized somehow they have all been deleted. Isn't that wonderful. Ugh, why is my whole life such a disorganized mess?
Well anyway, I had a cute one of me on the slopes. Picture it in your head I guess. I'm crabby now.

copy the pic off your facebook. it's cute and i bet your blog followers would love to see it:)
CO is best enjoyed from the seat of a Harley. You are only breathless from the views. ;-)
I found the pics. User error. :D
