A life-changing piece of equipment
I got a food processor for Christmas from my parents and FINALLY got to use it last night when I was making my dinner.
Oh my gooooooood, it was like the most fun, exciting thing I've ever done! I made my very first batch of pesto, and not only was it amazing, but that processor can honest to god grind shiz UP. I bet you could make creamy peanut butter in that thing.
Now I'm scouring my cookbook for recipes that require a processor so I can use it again tonight. I am totally in love with it. I think next up will be hummus.

Fun! I love chicken pesto. Do you eat tofu pesto now?
I put the pesto on orzo and mixed in cherry tomatoes and cannellini. It wasn't like restaurant-quality, but it was pretty dang good! I'll try to remember to post the recipe tomorrow.
Hey! That sounds delicious. I've been thinking of buying a food processor too. I totally have to now. I love how becoming a vegetarian has made me so much more creative in the kitchen. Sounds like you're having fun too. :)
I love to make cole slaw, if you have a slicing blade it will shred cabbage and carrots into little shreds REALLY fast.
