Too much spoiling?
I have a confession: I sing to my dog, hug him close to me and talk to him softly in his ears, kiss his head, let him stretch out on every soft surface in the house, laugh when he's naughty, share my Cheetos, never make him hold it for long, use a special dog voice with him, let him get muddy, and bring him in my car with me pretty much everywhere. Have I gone too far?
Chewing on a pork chop toy when he was a teeny baby.

He also sleeps in bed with me. And gets let off his leash whenever he wants. And I turn down plans to spend more time with him.
Sounds like you've got a little too much of your mother in you.
He's an angel!
I think I want to be your dog.
Last comment is disturbing, but your dog is very cute.
Other than needing some work on how to walk on a leash, he was perfectly fine when we had him for a day. This is in stark contrast to the miniature schnauzer we had later.
You've had a LOT of excellent posts, Ms. Ginger---but this one is my very, very favorite. You haven't even come within 10,000 miles of going too far. Dogs are the best.
I can't see the picture :( But this is the love dogs need to be happy little creatures. You can never go too far, they deserve all the love they can get!
I'll email you the photo because it needs to be seen - that's how cute it is.
