I have GOT to start watching the news again
I had absolutely no idea that Northwest and Delta airlines were planning to merge until I got an email this morning about my frequent flier miles. To me, this news is big because Northwest is my go-to airline when I fly home. I can't believe I didn't know anything about it! I wonder if it'll go through, and what that will mean for prices.

I know. You might need to move home.
Right before the news I used to watch in Germany came on, they always had the stock exchange reports with the latest mergers and why stock fluctuated the way it did. On some days, I found that to reveal more about what's going on in the world than the actual news.
It means that you will have to layover in Atlanta on the way home. And have lunch with me during your layover.
