I've touched on a truth in life...
I'm just kidding, I don't know what I'm doing. I just had an epiphany after a few beers the other night.
No matter where we're from or who we are, we all want
to feel the wind in our hair
to feel the rain on our faces
to feel the acceptance of our friends
to feel we're living our best lives
to really love
...and, adds Debra - to hear good music!

Ah, drunken thoughts or in my case words..."either you love me or you hate me, you decide, I decide.."LOL
"Fill your bowl to the brim
and it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
and it will blunt.
Chase after money and security
and your heart will never unclench.
Care about people's approval
and you will be their prisoner.
Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity."
- Tao te Ching, Chapter 9 (S. Mitchell translation)

Kyla, I love that quote, I wanted to use it as my facebook quote, but it's not the same without the hand gestures that accompany it. And the slurring. hahaha
Jason, I really like that link you posted, thank you!
No problem. The Tao te Ching is a fascinating book, you should pick up a copy sometime if you're into philosophy -- it's short, but it has incredible depth. It's also interesting to read different translations and see the subtle variations.
