Your name just struck me as strange.

I think I've talked to you about this before, but it's when you look at a word or name (usually name for me) and see it for its letters and the way it sounds and start thinking about how it's odd that humans have these weird words as ways for people to be addressed and recognizable...

You hear a name and you don't think about how the name sounds or what it's spelled like, a face or memory or something else pops into your head instead. But very rarely it is just a word for just a second and it totally creeps me out.

I also think it's funny when you and I are hanging out and introduce ourselves - "Hey, I'm Ginger and this is my brother Wyatt."

Ginger and Wyatt - I'm sure people think it's some kind of joke.

I like our names too because they're not just hippie weird names. They have a history and are definitely American names, not just something that someone made up.

'rents,

I sold my motorcycle for $825, my acoustic guitar for $80, and my electric guitar and amp for $150. All in all I think I did pretty well, though I was sad to part with each and every one of those items. I can tell you though that it's SO NICE to have over a thousand $ CASH to deposit in the bank tomorrow.

I sold the acoustic to my housemate Nancy.

I sold the electric to a balding guy that is probably trying to impress a girl.

I sold the motorcycle to a vintage motorist (buys old cars and bikes exclusively) who is young and seemed like a really great guy. I budged in the price more than I wanted to, but I figured since I had someone who was willing to take it off my hands now I was willing to sacrifice the $50 or so more that I could've gotten from somebody else just to not have to fool around with it and waste my time (and potentially not sell it). Thanks for the pointers Dad, everything went smoothly and I am feeling confident that I will one day be a wheelin', dealin', vintage vehicle buying enthusiast like yourself one day. Time will tell.

I'm in a packing frenzy right now, so I better cut it off there. I'll be home in a week and a half! Hope all is well with you both.

Wyatt

PS I found out it's actually cheaper to mail via USPS than it is via Greyhound, so I'm going that route. I am also going to go to the P.O. tomorrow to change my address and make my first shipment (a HEAVY box of books). I guess it only costs $16 to mail 50 lbs. worth of books, so I'm all over it.
