"Amusement" Parks

I went to Six Flags America with my boyfriend Alex on Memorial Day. It was really fun and the lines were vitually non-existent thanks to days and days of rainy weather. It scared everyone away but we went and it didn't even sprinkle that day! They have some fun roller coasters but my favorite was the one called "Superman". There's one called Batman I think that you lay down on your back for, but it's not very scary because you can't see much when you're laying on your back. Plus the blood rushed to my head so bad I thought it was going to explode. The funny thing about "amusement" parks is that you see so many kids crying. They're bawling as they get off rides, they're whining for food (I guess I fall into that category, too), they're sniffling when they're too short to ride, they squirm and get scared when they can't get out of the safety harness, they're screaming because they got lost, you name it. I'd venture a guess that it's at least as traumatizing as it is amusing for children to visit theme parks.
